How do I sign in?
Choose Sign in with Microsoft. Task Scrubber does not have a separate password. The same Microsoft account opens your workspace on the website and in the iPhone app.
My work account says an admin has to approve it.
Work and school Microsoft accounts often need an IT administrator to consent before Task Scrubber can read mail or files. Ask the admin to approve the app for User.Read, Mail.Read, Mail.ReadWrite, and Files.Read. Until that consent is granted, the board can still hold tasks you type or import, and mail features stay off.
How do I install the PC Outlook Bridge on Windows?
On the Windows PC where classic Outlook is open, download the installer from https://taskscrubber.com/download/windows and run TaskScrubberSetup.exe. Open Start, then Task Scrubber Outlook Bridge. The first time, choose Connect this PC and sign in at https://taskscrubber.com. You do not edit a settings file. Task Scrubber opens the board. Task Scrubber - Check setup tells you what to fix. Leave Outlook open, then start the PC Outlook Bridge from the Start menu.
What is the difference between Outlook via Microsoft Graph and the PC Outlook Bridge?
Microsoft Graph runs in the cloud after you sign in. It can read flagged follow-ups and save drafts while the PC is off, if the mailbox granted permission. The PC Outlook Bridge is optional software on a Windows PC where Outlook is open. Use it when Graph cannot read that mailbox. It sends task rows from flagged mail on that PC, can read an email you select for meeting minutes, and can save drafts in Outlook on that PC. Neither one sends mail.
How do I share a note from the iPhone Notes app?
In Notes, choose Send Copy (not Share a Link). Send Copy attaches the note text so it can become tasks. Share a Link is an invite, and iPhone does not give that invite to Task Scrubber.
How does Siri work on iPhone?
Say “Add a task in Task Scrubber” and it lands on your board. Sign in with Microsoft in the Task Scrubber iPhone app. If you leave out the task, Siri asks what it is.
How do I revoke a Siri token?
Sign in, open More, and choose Add tasks with Siri. Each token is listed on its own row, with when it was created and last used. Choose Revoke on the row you want to turn off. The other tokens keep working. Generating a new token does not revoke the ones you already have. On iPhone, revoking the iPhone row clears that phone's Keychain token. Revoking a different row does not. Lock (sign out) also removes the token from that phone, and it does not revoke the other tokens on the account. Revoking does not delete tasks already on the board.
How do I delete my data or my account?
Sign in and open Account. Download my data exports a zip of your workspace. Delete my account, on that same page, removes the workspace after you type DELETE. You can also email help@excelerror.com from the Microsoft address you use with Task Scrubber. Sign-out alone does not delete the workspace. Drafts already saved in Outlook stay in your mailbox until you delete them in Outlook. Details are on the privacy policy.
